Over the years, we've discovered a significant number of our clients are autistic and/or ADHD. Most are undiagnosed and even unaware of their neurodivergence because Gen X and Baby Boomers didn't have the language of autism and ADHD in their childhoods.
One reason so many neurodivergent leaders find us is because our methods suit autistic/ADHD strengths. The Congruence model focuses on things that matter most in life and work without a lot of frills or hoops to jump through. Working with the horses takes away the pressure autistics often feel to mask in other settings, so they're free to be themselves in session and can learn more quickly and easily. Plus, we like when clients ask direct questions to take ownership of their learning, and we like giving straight answers.
Of course neurotypical clients benefit from these methods too.
In 2023 our founder and lead consultant Celia King completed autism coach training through the Association for Autism and Neurodiversity, and she can integrate ADHD/autistic specific resources into leadership coaching and training for clients who would benefit from that.
With the growing interest in equine therapy, we also offer services to individuals and families who are ready to engage the hidden potential in themselves and their loved ones. To be clear, we're not therapists and our work with horses is coaching rather than therapy. So there's less digging into the emotions involved, and more emphasis on identifying strengths and solving problems.

Family Sessions
Many parents of autistic kids are looking for resources to support that young person. While there are a lot of good resources out there, for a child still growing up in a family, the most influential resource available is you, the parent. Our approach is unique because we take a team perspective of your family. Parents are the leaders of the family team, and like all Congruent leaders, you can get the support you need and advance your skills to lead and support all the members of your team, including the autistic ones. Family sessions offer support and training to you and your young person as a collective.
